Description
The S.N.A.P.? Gel Purification Kit is designed for rapid purification of DNA fragments from agarose gels. The key is the unique S.N.A.P.? resin, which is provided ready to use in a spin-column format. The resin efficiently binds nucleic acids up to 20 kb and eliminates organic extractions, and the need to perform time-consuming ethanol precipitations.
Easy to Use
The S.N.A.P.? Gel Purification Kit yields pure DNA in an easy-to-perform,
rapid procedure. Simply:
1. Excise DNA band from your agarose gel.
2. Add NaI solution (provided) and melt the agarose at 42-50°C.
3. Load sample onto the S.N.A.P.? spin column.
4. Wash away contaminants.
5. Elute DNA in water.
The eluted DNA is highly pure and ready to use for cloning, sequencing, transformation, or transfection.
